Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store, and share your personal information across the STELLA and STELLA STARPASS platforms.

We understand and respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, stored and shared when you engage with, sign up for, or make a payment to STELLA, STELLA STARPASS, and our related websites and applications (the "Site"), operated by STELLA STARPASS LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

We collect, use, store and share your personal information in accordance with applicable law. If you would like a copy of this Privacy Policy in a particular format, please contact us and we will provide one.

01INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device — including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages you view, the websites or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. With your permission, we may also collect location data from your device. We refer to this as "Device Information".

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies: data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier.
  • Log files: records of actions on the Site, including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons and pixels: electronic files used to record how you browse the Site.

When you make or attempt to make a payment through the Site, we collect information including your name, billing address, email address, phone number, payment details, and transaction history. We refer to this as "Order Information".

When we otherwise engage with you, we may collect information reasonably necessary for our business functions, including your name, address, email address, phone number, and payment and transaction history. We refer to this as "Other Information".

When we refer to "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information, and Other Information together — any information that relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you.

02HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the Order Information we collect to process your payments, deliver the services you have requested, communicate with you, and provide invoices and confirmations.

We also use this information to screen for potential risk or fraud and, where consistent with your preferences, to provide you with information about our products and services.

We use Device Information (in particular, your IP address) to help screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimise the Site — for example, by understanding how visitors browse and interact with it, and to assess the success of our marketing.

We may use Other Information in our interactions with you, including where we engage you as talent or as an independent contractor.

04USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

We use artificial intelligence ("AI") tools, agents, and automated systems to assist with our business functions — including drafting and responding to communications with clients, talent, and other third parties, scheduling, generating documents, and processing information you provide to us.

AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or other specialist advice. Material decisions and binding agreements remain subject to human review and written confirmation by an authorised representative of STELLA.

Right to human interaction: You may request that your communications with us be handled solely by a human representative. To opt out of AI-assisted communication, contact us with the subject line "Human Contact Request". Certain system-generated messages (such as transactional emails and booking confirmations) may remain automated.

Personal Information processed by our AI systems is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

We may modify, expand, or discontinue our use of AI tools at any time.

05SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties who help us operate the Site and our business — for example, our hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, and analytics providers such as Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site.

We may also disclose your Personal Information where permitted or required by law — for example, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.

We may share your Personal Information with other members of our group, or with third parties in connection with a sale of, or investment in, our business or assets.

We may share your information with our affiliated companies, who may contact you about their own products, programs, and services. Information you submit — including an application, enquiry, or response to an advertisement — may be reviewed by the affiliate best suited to it.

We do not sell your Personal Information.

06INFORMATION OF THIRD PARTIES

To the extent you provide us with Personal Information of third parties, you confirm that you have informed them of, and they have agreed to, our collection, use, and disclosure of their Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

07INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Sharing your Personal Information as described above may involve transferring it outside your home country, including to countries that may not have equivalent data-protection laws. We will ensure that any such transfer is carried out in compliance with applicable law.

08DIRECT MARKETING

We will only use your Personal Information for direct marketing where you have provided it for that purpose or have otherwise consented.

If you agree to receive direct marketing from us, we may contact you from time to time — for example by email, SMS, phone, or social media — with information about our products and services.

You can stop receiving direct marketing at any time by opting out. Our communications will include instructions on how to do this.

09BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertising and marketing we believe may be of interest to you.

You can opt out of targeted advertising through the privacy settings of platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Bing, or via the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at optout.aboutads.info.

Please note that we do not alter the Site's data-collection practices in response to a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

10YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collect, use, and disclose about you, the sources of that information, and the third parties to whom we have disclosed it.

You may also have the right to access your Personal Information, request correction of information that is inaccurate or out of date, request that we delete your Personal Information (subject to certain exceptions), and make a complaint about how we have handled it.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise them, contact us using the details below.

11DATA RETENTION

When you transact with us, we retain your Order Information for our records:

  • (i)for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected;
  • (ii)for as long as needed to perform our contractual obligations;
  • (iii)for as long as we have your consent; or
  • (iv)for any period required or permitted by law.

We will delete or anonymise your Personal Information when it is no longer required.

12MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from a person under 18, please contact us and we will delete it.

13CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the "updated" date shown above.

14DISPUTES

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be determined in accordance with the dispute-resolution provisions of our Terms & Conditions.
